About Charlie Davis

Charlie Davis, president of Liquid Ventures, is a successful business and organizational entrepreneur.

Charlie divides his time between working with Liquid Ventures’ growing portfolio of companies and clients and launching new startups. He is currently managing the 2011 Republican Leadership Conference & Reagan Centennial Celebration.

Liquid Ventures is a unique company which functions as both a small business incubation firm and a consulting firm that works at the juncture of politics, technology and emerging media.

For their portfolio companies, Liquid Ventures provides guidance on management, information technology, strategic planning and business development - as well as office space and financial support. Key companies include Prodigy Health Insurance, FanTheFire.com, Varsity Vests and GatorWorks Web Design.

Charlie also oversees the consulting division of Liquid Ventures which specializes in helping clients implement effective programs in grassroots mobilization, earned media efforts and emerging media campaigns. Key clients include the 2011 Republican Leadership Conference, the Republican Party of Louisiana and the US Leadership Foundation.

Charlie served as a delegate to the 2004 Republican National Convention, a McCain elector in 2008 and is on the board of the Louisiana Family Forum. He was also recently named one of the "Top 100 Influencers" in Louisiana by Politics Magazine.

Charlie is married to Ellen Wray Davis and they have one son and two daughters. Ellen spends most of her time rearing William, Sarah and Anna but is also very active in the political process. She is the former Political Director of GOPAC, the former Executive Director of the Republican Party of Louisiana, an elected member of the party's State Central Committee and a delegate to the 2008 Republican National Convention.

They attend Healing Place Church and help coach life groups for young married couples.
